I am a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator, wife, and mother to three. I have been a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator for 13 years and the time has flown by. I can't image life without Stampin'Up! I have met some of my best friends through Stampin'Up! and I'm sure I will continue to craft even in heaven, it is an addiction that I will never get enough of. I like to try making everything I see, I am addicted.
Saturday I had a party and during the party we made these cute treat holders using the 1"x 8" cellophane bags, they are only $2.50 for 50, Stampin'Up! Sales. The stamp set is P.S. I love you that is in the Occasions Mini.
I just finished making thirty cards using 1/2 of the Simply Scrappin' Kit Spring Fever that is in the Occasions Mini. I still had some extra card stock and Designer Series Paper left. I added Whisper White and Very Vanilla card stock, some ribbons, and punches. There is no stamping at all. I am offering a class for these cards on Mon. Feb. 13th starting at 10 AM, this is a holiday for me. I will also be offering it on a Sat. in Feb. or March, not sure which date yet. This class is $40 and will include all supplies to make the 30 cards, envelopes, and directions for all cards. I am also offering a kit with supplies and directions for these cards. I am still working on the directions. My goal is to have them done by this weekend. Watch for details about kit and tutorial coming soon, hopefully by this weekend.

For my card I used the color combination of Basic Black and Whisper White. I had no idea what to create for this hop, so Friday night I started playing around. I had some Scrapbooking Friends over and while they Scrapbooked I made this card. Let me know what you think.
To create this card I used the embossing folder "Manhattan Flower". I then used a sponge dauber and the Stampin' Pastel color Basic Black and went over the raised embossing. I punched out the two corners with the "Scallop Trim Corner" punch. The bird was punched with the "Bird Builder". I punched one Basic Black wing and one Whisper White wing. The random lines were made with the White Gel Pen. The eye is one of our Basic Pearls, the smallest. I don't know if you can see in photo, but the top flower also has three Basic Pearls on it. The ribbon is the 5/8 in. White Organza Ribbon. To make the ribbon black I used the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, use the paint brush side and color the ribbon. This is a great trick to use when you need a color of ribbon you don't have. It is quick and oh, so easy. I hope you like this card leave me a message and let me know what you think. Don't keep our Hop a Secret let all your friends know.
Now it is time for you to continue on to the next SU' Stars Ebony and Ivory Blog Hop stop, You are heading to Angela's blog Life with a Wiener Dog. Have a great time blog hopping.
I have been having fun this weekend. Today I was able to go to the SewnVac store where they have embroidery and sewing classes. I made a baby burping cloth and two burrito pillow cases. I was so glad that I got to use my embroidering/sewing machine again. It has been awhile. The burp cloth says What Drool. The pillow cases are for thirty six women in the Navy. It will be nice for them to have something that is theirs while on the ship for nine months.
On Friday night Katie, my daughter, and I got to watch movies and decorate canisters. The canisters are going to be used to help the youth at our church save and raise money for their Summer Trip to Yosemite, "Yo Camp". They love it! I have thought about going, not sure if I could handle the "pure camping," no running water or showers. Here are some of the canisters we decorated. We made twenty four canisters.
