I love this Post It Note holder. I saw this as a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, a great place to go for ideas. I made over 4o of these for teacher appreciation day at my school and I also sold another 20 at a craft fair. These are easy to make and great for using your scraps. I used the same designer paper on all three pieces, but I did different combinations on other ones using up my scraps.
Supplies:
One 4"x7" piece of cardstock
Three 3 3/4" x 3" of cardstock
Three 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" pieces of patterned paper
One 1/4" x 1" piece of cardstock
Two 5" lengths of ribbon
Sticky Strip
One Small pencil(golf pencils)
Variety of punches
Take the 4" x 7" piece of cardstock and score it at 3 1/4" across the wide side, then flip and score the other side at 3 1/4".
It should look like this.
Mount designer series paper onto the 3 3/4" x 3" pieces of cardstock.
Put ribbon on inside put it in the center. Use the red sticky strip to hold the ribbon.
Mount designer series and cardstock over the top of the ribbon.
Put sticky strip around all four sides of the back of the post it note.
Peel sticky strip and place on the bottom of the holder. Then wrap cardstock strip around pencil using sticky strip to hold together and to tape to holder. It should look like this.
Now for the front. Attach designer series paper to front and embellish.
I used the 1 3/4" circle, scallop circle, boho blossoms, and trio flower punches. I love how these turn out and each one can look different.
