CD Album

while Nicole was making her cd album, I decided to start a more manly album. I used the Textured cardstock To the Nines Specialty (114038) I love the texture it is great. I also used the self adhesive die cuts from the Tailor Made Simply Scrappin' Kit (114326) I haven't decided what pictures to put in yet, but here is the cd album. What do you think?

Shelley E. Birthday Card Creations

These are the cards that my downline Shelley E. made at her stamp-a-stack this weekend. She did a great job and everyone had a fun time. I wish was going to be able to come to convention this year, but not to be. Hopefully next year.

On this first card she used the stamp set Party Hardy (111532), with the Eyelet Border punch (113692), the texturz plate Backgrounds1 (114512), and the pink beads from the Bead Duo (110752). The completed card looks good enough to eat.

On the second card she used the same stamp set Party Hardy, but used the Photo Corner punch (109042) to give it the perfect look.

On this third card she used the stamp set Crazy for Cupcakes (111618) one of my favorite sets. This card could be for a girl or a boy.

This last card she used the balloon in the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set (111618) to make a completely different style card.

Get together fun

Ruth made this card during our get together time and then took off making another 10 cards. I think she might be getting the bug to create. I loved her cards.n She also made a project for her work that turned out very cute. You go Ruth.

During Saturday's get together time Nicole made this cd album. She did a great Job! This was her first one and she is ready to make more.

New Pendant Notes

This weekend I had a get together time so customers and friends could come over and get the new idea book and catalog. If they wanted to stay they could work on some projects. I played around with the new Pendant Notes(116449) I loved them. I put some of the designer paper behind them and used the Pretty Kits embellishments (109114) and some of the Corduroy Buttons (114339) to help dress them up.

What do you think?

I think this one is my favorite. I used the Elegant Eggplant Craft Pad (105324) and embossed with Iridescent Ice (101930)You might not be able to see it as well, but in person it really sparkles.

Adorable Post It Note Holder

I love this Post It Note holder. I saw this as a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers, a great place to go for ideas. I made over 4o of these for teacher appreciation day at my school and I also sold another 20 at a craft fair. These are easy to make and great for using your scraps. I used the same designer paper on all three pieces, but I did different combinations on other ones using up my scraps.

One 4"x7" piece of cardstock
Three 3 3/4" x 3" of cardstock
Three 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" pieces of patterned paper
One 1/4" x 1" piece of cardstock
Two 5" lengths of ribbon
Sticky Strip
One Small pencil(golf pencils)
Variety of punches

Take the 4" x 7" piece of cardstock and score it at 3 1/4" across the wide side, then flip and score the other side at 3 1/4".

It should look like this.

Mount designer series paper onto the 3 3/4" x 3" pieces of cardstock.

Put ribbon on inside put it in the center. Use the red sticky strip to hold the ribbon.

Mount designer series and cardstock over the top of the ribbon.

Put sticky strip around all four sides of the back of the post it note.

Peel sticky strip and place on the bottom of the holder. Then wrap cardstock strip around pencil using sticky strip to hold together and to tape to holder. It should look like this.

Now for the front. Attach designer series paper to front and embellish.

I used the 1 3/4" circle, scallop circle, boho blossoms, and trio flower punches. I love how these turn out and each one can look different.
